DONORS & SPONSORS NEEDED

“Raise For A Cause” Fundraising Poker Tournament, a fundraiser taking place on

June 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Firehouse on Calloway Drive in Bakersfield California to raise money for a member and family of the Sunshine Poker League affected by cancer.

This special event will bring together community members for an afternoon of friendly competition, connection, and most importantly—hope for a family affected by battling cancer. All proceeds will go directly toward supporting this family to help them recover the costs associated with their last seven months of financial hardship while making a real difference in the fight against this disease.

We are inviting generous local businesses like yours to get involved in one of two ways:

  1. Donate a Gift Certificate or Prize Item: These will be used as tournament prizes or raffle items, helping us raise more funds and create a fun and engaging experience for attendees.

  2. Become an Event Sponsor for $250: Sponsorship includes your business name/logo featured on event signage, website, promotional materials, and public acknowledgements throughout the night. Two tickets for the event are included.

Your support will not only show your commitment to a meaningful cause but also give your business great visibility among local community members and supporters.

If you’re interested in donating or sponsoring—or have any questions—I’d love to connect. I can be reached at 661-381-1615 or send an email to jduemmel@gmail.com. Donations can be picked up at your convenience.
